Kingsway is a small, highly professional
training centre set up by Rick & Sue Johns
in 1988 and still owned and managed by them.

• Rick is an engineer by training. He has
an honours degree in Electronic and
Electrical Engineering from Birmingham
University and spent the first 10 years of
his working life in the international
oil industry. He worked as a Field Engineer
as well as in office-based managerial positions
and his career took him all over the world.

• Sue’s background is in teaching. She has an
honours degree in English from Birmingham
University, a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), the Diploma in Teaching English as a
Foreign Language to Adults (Dip TEFLA) and a
distinction in Teaching English for Business
(Cert TEB). She has more than 20 years experience
in teaching and academic management.
